Ratings & Tasting notes:
Despite the very small production, in April of 2018 this wine was rated the #1 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon wine among Vivino's 29,000,000 users.
The Wine Guys 98+ pts: 2015 Frank Fredericks Estate | Cabernet Sauvignon | When we first discovered Frank Fredericks, it was so good that we were reluctant to open another one partially in fears it wouldn’t be the same as our first experience, but now that we did, this is absolutely the real deal. Notes of blackberries, pencil, shavings, cassis, coffee, tobacco, red cherry, violets, chocolate, baking spice and forest floor. Aromatic and finessed, the fruit is restrained and smooth on the palate, and as it airs it blooms into a richer/slightly creamy mid-palate. Extremely fine tannins, wonderful acidity, this is absolutely a polished wine end to end. It needs only about 30 minutes in a decanter and will blossom over the next few hours. The 15 seems to show more structure than the 14, and should reach greater heights if you’re patient, but really there isn’t much need to wait. One of the finest Cabernet’s coming out of Napa, you can put that in the book. Enjoy now over the next 10+ years. | 98+ points | $285 |
James Suckling 93 pts: Violets with ripe, attractive red plums and blackberries, adding dark plums on the palate, delivered in fleshy, expressive and approachable style. Long, vibrant plum finish with roasted coffee to close. Drink or hold.
From the Winery: In 2015, unseasonably early warm temperatures led to an early bud break and bloom. Colder temperatures hit in May during the peak of bloom which ultimately led to uneven fruit setting and lower overall yields. Harvest was two weeks earlier than 2014 due to the early fruit set. Hand harvested just before dawn when grape acidity is slightly higher. Grapes were tiny and incredibly concentrated. Almost black in color and of uncompromising quality. Aged in new French Oak for 28 months.
2015 was an outstanding growing season in Napa with lower yields and smaller, more concentrated fruit. This vintage shows balance and power. The higher complexities in earthy, woody notes it exudes are both striking and different in comparison to our 2014. Wine color is deep purple, vibrant and youthful. An incredible forest floor earthiness on the nose that was not as prevalent in the 2014's. Spring flowers, blackberry and raspberry fruit. On the palate the wine is grippy and bold. It fills the entire palate. A bit of charcoal notes over a bouquet of blueberry, chocolate and cassis. Well balanced and a beautiful finish. This wine is designed to age gracefully over 30+ years.

Shipping Restrictions & Notes:
We can ship to ALL states EXCEPT the following:
ALABAMA, ARKANSAS, DELAWARE, KENTUCKY, MICHIGAN, MISSISSIPPI, ILLINOIS, OKLAHOMA, PENNSYLVANIA, SOUTH DAKOTA AND UTAH. Wine shipping laws are tricky and vary from state to state. Some states require us to ship through a fulfillment center. For these particular states, packages are only sent out on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. If you need overnight shipping or 2 day shipping on a wine package, and are planning on ordering on a Wednesday, Thursday or Friday, please contact us to discuss options.
We collect 7% sales tax in the state of Florida
For all items with FREE shipping: Free shipping includes FedEx ground shipping at no charge within the Continental USA. Additional charges will be applied when shipping to Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico or anywhere else outside of the Continental USA.  If you want to purchase the item and you live in such areas, you may do so and then request an invoice for the total. If you have already paid for the item we will send you an additional invoice for the difference in shipping. We realize this may be upsetting, but shipping to such areas is over double the cost of shipping within the Continental USA. eBay has not yet devised a system where the listing can automatically be free for the Continental US and calculated for the outer US states/territories. We apologize in advance for this inconvenience.
Returns, Cancellation & Refunds:
We offer a 30 day return policy with our wines. In order to receive a full refund, wines must be sent back to us in the exact same condition in which they were sent out. No exceptions. This fee can be higher with foreign currency conversions. Please note that if you cancel an order or request a return, you will receive your refund in full MINUS the cost of the original PayPal fees and original shipping costs. We are not trying to penalize anyone but we cannot absorb these costs. If we have the item listed as
Free Shipping" then a flat $20.00 fee will be removed to cover original shipping costs from your refund. Cancellations will only be accepted if the wine has not yet shipped. If wine has shipped, the buyer must wait until they receive the wine then follow normal return protocols.

Disclaimers:
Regardless of the date or temperature during shipping: Wine spoilage in transit is NOT covered. Expedited/overnight shipping or shipping insurance DOES NOT change this policy. When purchasing shipping insurance, remember that shipments are only covered for breakage during shipping or complete loss of the package. If you have purchased wine but are worried about heat spoilage or freezing temperatures, simply let us put the order on hold, and we will ship when you want.
If you decide to ship the wine during the summer months, heat can create the wine to expand and push past the cork. The wine may arrive with a tiny bit of wine that has seeped or leaked from the capsule. Some buyers may find this upsetting, but typically such short-term heat exposure creates no damage to the wine itself. However, older vintages can be more fragile than newer ones.Cool packs can be added to the shipment for a small fee should you request. This should prevent such seepage when combined with expedited shipping. Please remember, that slight leakage or seepage can be common during shipping and this is NOT a valid reason to return the wine for a refund, and we will NOT grant one. We have systems in place to prevent this. Either wait until the summer months or pay for expedited shipping with cool packs.
Cult Wines International also cannot guarantee the condition of the cork or quality of the wine in the bottles. We do not make the wine we sell. If you do not like the wine in the bottle, please take it up with the vineyard. On older vintages corks can shrink, and degrade. The cork may break or crumble when you remove it. This is normal for older wines. We do our best by storing the wine in optimum conditions and accurately describing the condition of the bottles, but obviously this is as far as we can go when it comes to quality assurance.
